Before the New Millennium, the "Chang-dong Art Village" was a place where young people who led the trend gathered to have fun. Although the atmosphere of this place is not the same as before due to the decline of the commercial area, many young people are making efforts to revive this place by bringing back the emotions and memories of that time. Small shops are abundant in every alley, and "Café Mario" has started its journey with them in this diverse place with various things to see and eat.

뉴 밀레니엄 시대 이전까지만 해도 유행을 선도하는 젊은이들이 모여 놀던 ‘창동 예술촌'. 지금은 상권이 밀리면서 이곳의 분위기도 예전같진 않지만 많은 젊은이들이 그때의 감성과 추억을 되살려 다시금 이 곳을 활성화 시키려는 노력을 하고 있다. 작은 가게들이 골목 구석구석에 즐비하여 볼거리, 먹거리가 다양한 이곳에 ‘카페 마리오’가 그들과 함께 여정을 시작했다.
